FINAL ROUND OF DEBRIS PICK UP

There will be one final round of debris pick up in the City of Walker by the end of March.  The only items that will be picked up are flood damaged items/items from flood damaged, gutted homes.  The debris contractor cannot remove any new construction material from home sites as advised by FEMA.  Homeowners and/or contractors are responsible for having this material removed.

If the debris is outside of the City’s right-of-way or too close to the home where the debris trucks cannot reach, a Right-of-Entry form will need to be submitted to the City to allow the debris contractor’s on the property.  The Right-of-Entry Form may be obtained at the City of Walker Permit office at 10136 Florida Blvd.
